Aurelijus Šveikauskas has joined the team of European Merchant Bank (EMBank) as Head of Sales for Lithuania and now was appointed as Deputy CEO and member of the Management Board.. Mr. Šveikauskas has been working in the banking and corporate finance sector for almost 3 decades.

“I joined EMBank because the bank’s business and product profile is quite broad and has a good perspective. “European Merchant Bank has a relatively strong capital base compared to other recently launched banks, which gives it greater growth potential. I see considerable scope for further expansion of the bank’s lending services. In short, I am very interested in this new phase of my career, as I will be able to contribute to the bank’s rapidly growing activities,” said Mr. Šveikauskas.

Mr Šveikauskas’ experience and competences cover business strategy and development, process and product development, financial and risk management, banking development, leasing, credit, consumer finance and other financial services.

Previously, Mr. Šveikauskas held senior executive positions in Finora Bank, Medicinos bankas, Nord/LB lizingas, Mokilizingas, and other.
