An Account Information Service Provider, or AISP, is an intermediary financial institution authorised to access “read-only” financial data of an individual or SME and share it with other institutions. Account Information Service Providers (AISPs) are a part of the Open Banking framework.
Account Information Services are being used in money management tools in which users can view their accounts from different banks on one application. Additionally, Account Information Service Providers (AISPs) enable lenders to evaluate borrowers’ financial data on loan applications for fast and accurate lending services.
