Merchant Bank

A merchant bank is a type of bank that is specialized in commercial loans, investments, fundraising, and financial advising. Merchant banks may focus on specific industries and offer their services to corporate entities instead of the general public. They provide businesses with accounts and loans in order to actualize their growth plans.

Besides their expertise in international trading and fundraising, a merchant bank may also act as a financial advisor.
